Spring Momentum at PridePads Africa
We’ve really felt the momentum building this spring for PridePads Africa! The work happening on the ground in Cameroon and across our global community right now is extraordinary - from record-breaking outreach to generous new partnerships.
And none of it would be possible without this community behind us. Thank you for being part of it. Let’s take a look at what’s been happening:
Year Two of Swing Phi Swing
We're pleased to announce that Swing Phi Swing is returning as a PridePads Africa sponsor for the second consecutive year. Their continued commitment is greatly appreciated as their impact is direct and immediate. This year's donation of $2400 provides a full year's supply of menstrual pads for all 100 students at the Government Bilingual Primary School in Ngaoundere, That means that 100 girls can show up, stay in class, and pursue their dreams.
LOLA Supports Our Free Period Pantry
We're grateful to welcome LOLA to our growing list of partners. LOLA is a women-founded reproductive health brand that makes period and sexual wellness products with clean, transparent ingredients and a mission to improve menstrual equity and conversation around women’s health. LOLA has donated 500 pads to our Free Period Pantry — ensuring that girls and women in the Boulder, CO, community have access to menstrual products when they need them most, no questions asked.
Two Impactful Weeks in March
Between March 23rd and April 3rd, our Cameroon team reached 1,145 students and community members. This is the highest number we have ever served in a single two-week period. Furthermore, that impressive number brings our annual total to 3,812 community members reached in 2026 so far. Every number represents a conversation, a pad distributed, and a moment of dignity restored. These interactions are at the heart of what PridePads Africa does - meet girls where they are, in their schools and communities.
Mark Your Calendars - Two Sole Sisters Fundraiser Weekend
Mark your calendars for May 1–3, when PridePads Africa partners with Two Sole Sisters in Boulder, CO, for a fundraiser weekend. Two Sole Sisters has generously agreed to donate 10% of all in-person and website sales to PridePads Africa. Board members will be on hand all weekend to connect with you, answer questions, and share more about the work we do in Cameroon.
