Give the Gift of Period Power This Giving Tuesday

What if $24 made the difference between receiving an education or dropping out of school? With PridePads Africa, it does.

For many of you reading this newsletter, choosing between food and menstrual products has never crossed your mind. This, however, is the unfortunate reality for many students in northern Cameroon.

This Giving Tuesday, I am asking you, our valued community, to join me in donating to PridePads Africa's end-of-year campaign, Period Power: Supporting Girls’ Education with Sustainable Menstruation.

When a girl can stay in school and receive an education, you empower her to change her own life, her family’s, and her entire community. By providing pads, not only are girls able to stay in school while on their period, they are able to imagine a future beyond early marriage and motherhood.

In partnership with 14 schools and nine women’s groups, our team in Cameroon has presented our Menstrual Health Education seminar to over 6,700 students and community members this year. Many of the schools say that because of PridePads menstrual health education, girls are not only staying in school and not getting pregnant but are exceeding expectations and graduating at the top of their class.

Together, we can help break the barriers of stigma and period poverty - ensuring that menstruation is never a barrier to education or opportunity.

Thank you for your support of PridePads Africa!

With heartfelt appreciation,

Elizabeth Cleveland
