Our 2nd Pad Production Machine is Here!

We are pleased to announce that our second pad production machine has arrived! In 2021, PridePads Africa was awarded a combined $12,500 grant from the Boulder Valley Rotary Club, Boulder Flatirons Rotary Club, and Denver SE Rotary Club to go towards the  purchase of this second  machine from Aakar Innovations in India. This additional machine will allow PridePads to employ more women and increase pad production,  in turn, providing additional menstrual pads for students allowing them to stay in school during their periods.

The machine was received in the port city of Douala and transported to the PridePads headquarters in Ngaoundere. Big thanks to Board Member Derek Gerleit for being on the ground in Cameroon and helping to facilitate the smooth transfer and setup!

2nd Annual Cirque de Menses: A Menstruation Celebration!

You are invited to our 2nd annual “Cirque de Menses: A Menstruation Celebration!”, in honor of Global Menstrual Hygiene Day. The second volume of “Cirque de Menses,” will feature circus arts performances by The Fractal Society.

75% of ticket proceeds will go directly to PridePads and our goal of securing a new facility in Ngaoundéré, Cameroon so that the organization can continue to grow as a business supporting women.
